In preparation for the by-election of the District Woman Representative to Parliament for Kisoro District and other local Government Councils by-elections, the Electoral Commission appointed Wednesday 30th, and Thursday 31st October 2024 as the dates for the nomination of candidates.
The nomination exercise will be conducted at the District Council Hall, Kisoro District, starting at 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on the above dates.
All persons aspiring to contest in the by-elections are urged to familiarize themselves with the requirements for nomination for each of the above elective positions, as outlined in the Guidelines issued by the Electoral Commission.
