Suspension of Polling Activities for the Election of District/City Directly Elected Councillor for Makindye III Electoral Area, Kampala Capital City
The Electoral Commission, in accordance with Section 50 of the Electoral Commission Act, CAP 140, informs candidates, their agents and voters in Makindye III Electoral Area, Kampala Capital City, that polling for the election of the District/City Directly Elected Councillor has been suspended.
The suspension has been made as a result of non-inclusion of one of the nominated candidates on the ballot paper.
A new date for the election of Directly Elected Councillor for Makindye III will be communicated.
Political parties, candidates, voters and the general public in Makindye III Electoral Area, are hereby informed and requested to remain calm.
