he Electoral Commission has embarked on a voter education outreach programme in primary schools, secondary schools and institutions of higher learning to sensitize the pupils and students on elections in order to enhance their participation. This is in accordance with Article 61, (g) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic

Elections of Administrative Units and Women Council / Committees
Preparations for the conduct of elections of Administrative Units and Women Council/Committees from Village to Sub County/Town/Division level have commenced.
The elections will be conducted in accordance with the approved programme. The mode of voting will be lining behind candidates or their agents or portraits.

Guidelines for Polling for Formation of PWDs Committees
These guidelines shall apply to elections of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) Electoral Structures/Committees at:
- Village/Zone/Cell;(i)
- Parish/Ward ;(ii)
- Subcounty/Town/Municipal Division;(iii)
- Municipality/ City Division; and (iv)
- District/City.(v)
